Beyond Black History Month: The Rise of Black Futures Month
February is widely known as Black History Month, a time dedicated to celebrating and recognizing the achievements and contributions of Black Americans throughout history. As the month comes to an end, I want to put a spotlight a newer movement that has emerged in recent years, known as Black Futures Month, which seeks to not only honor the past, but also imagine and create a better future for Black communities.
